Stage Being Replaced

Stage Reconstruction in process

It has been close to a year since any of our patrons has set foot in the NMP building. Before then, the building was full of activity. You could close your eyes and hear doors opening and closing, footsteps in the hallway, vocal warm-ups, and lines spoken, softly at first, then with confidence. Now the only sounds you hear when you enter the building are those of a hammer and saw.

The pandemic has provided the perfect opportunity to start a new project: replacing the stage. Over the past month, board president Rick Scheffert has been hard at work, tearing down walls and deconstructing platforms, with help from our treasurer, Carl Peterson.

At this point, the project is almost fully funded, with 93% of the funds raised. We would be grateful if you would consider a donation to help us raise the last $2,000.
