Normally when we put out a call for proposals for a show, we request proposals for all of our different production openings. This year, however, is not like most years. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and its effect on our season last year, the NMP Board has chosen to allow those directors and shows who had been slated for our previous season to continue forward into this season if they wish. This has allowed us to roll forward most of the shows that were slated to occur.
One slot that has not yet been decided for the 2021-2022 season is that of the Creative Venture. The Creative Venture show occurs within the first 2 weekends of November. This is our most flexible season opening, where we hope to see proposals from anyone who wishes to direct something that may or may not fit into other categories for our season. This year, we cannot guarantee a live performance, so please submit proposals with the possibility of a virtual show being a necessity.
