How the Camel Got Its Hump
The Children’s Show, for actors in first through eighth grade, will be How the Camel Got Its Hump. Based on one of Kipling’s Just So Stories, the short (one-hour) musical was written by Rick and Sheryl Scheffert, who also serve as director and music director. In the beginning, when most animals began to work, The Camel was idle and refused. The Dog, The Horse, and The Ox all told him he should join in the work, but The Camel only answered, “Humph!” The show will be performed October 24-27. Evening shows Thursday through Saturday begin at 7:00 p.m. Sunday matinee begins at 2:00.
