New Minowa Players and director Sheryl Scheffert are excited to announce the cast of their summer musical, Mamma Mia! Karen Esterl will be playing Donna Sheridan, owner of a taverna on a Greek island, and Linnea Carlson will play her daughter Sophie, about to get married. Donna is joined by her former bandmates, the Dynamoes, played by Aleesa Baakko and Greta Goetting, and Sophie is joined by her bridesmaids, played by Cydney Weitzel and Maddie Flom-Staab. Aaron Kvale will play Sky, Sophie’s fiancé. And, Sophie has secretly invited three men from her mother’s past, one of whom is her father. Gabe Twedt will play Sam Charmichael, Eric Ellingson will play Harry Bright, and Adam Lenehan will play Bill Austin. The village priest, played by Carl Peterson, will perform the wedding.

Mamma Mia! will be presented at the Decorah High School auditorium on June 27-30.
