New Minowa Players (NMP) is an incredibly active community theatre based in Decorah, Iowa. NMP began presenting shows in 1975 and has performed over 120 straight plays, musicals, reviews, cabarets and melodramas since. The theater presents six shows per year and has a strong following of audience members who look forward to attending them.

Majority of productions are performed at the New Minowa Players Theatre, located at 906 South Mill Street, Decorah. Our shows have also been performed at a variety of locations throughout Northeast Iowa including Impact Coffee, Luther College, Decorah High School Auditorium, and area outdoor stages.

NMP is grateful for the support and engagement of people from throughout the region.
