New Minowa Players will present the musical "Anne of Green Gables" June 26^th -28^th at Decorah High School. New Minowa Players is the Decorah area community theatre and all are welcome to participate in our shows. Have you always wanted to be on stage but never had the time/chance or courage? How about sharing your talents backstage on costumes, set construction or painting, technical work etc...Well this is your chance- we want you to help make "Anne" a huge success.

Anne of Green Gables the musical follows the Lucy Mont Montgomery story of the orphan red haired girl who comes to live with elderly brother and sister Matthew and Marilla Cuthburd in Avonlea, Prince Edward Island (the smallest Canadian province on the east coast of the country). This high-spirited imaginative young lady changes the lives of the kids and adults of Avonlea. The cast calls for 28 named characters and we would love to add dancers, gymnasts and as many chorus members as we have interested.

Auditions will take place on Saturday, April 25th at the Decorah High School Theatre. Auditions for children 10 and under AND anyone who wishes to be in the chorus will take place from 10 am till noon. Auditions for everyone over the age of 10 who wish to audition for named parts will take place from 1 to 3 pm. Come ready to sing, dance, read and have fun. No preparation needed.
