Shows will run Thursday through Saturday evening at 7pm and a Sunday matinee at 2 pm. Area residents will be invited to “Give Community Theatre a Chance” at an upcoming fundraiser for Decorah-based New Minowa Players.

On Thursday, February 26^th between the hours of 5:00-9:00 p.m. a portion of the proceeds raised from food and beverage sales at T-Bock’s Sports Bar & Grill on Water St. will be donated to NMP to help cover the cost of royalties and scripts for the 2009 summer musical, “Anne of Green Gables”.

New Minowa Players is seeking director's proposals for several future productions.  Directors are being sought for the 2009 Young People's Show, the Fall 2009 all-children's show, the January 2010 Family Show, and the Spring 2010 straight show.

Proposals should be written in the form of a letter stating the show the director is seeking to perform and should detail the merits and theatre experience of the prospective director.  Letters should be sent to the attention of Shirl Frana, NMP Board President, at P.O. Box 321, Decorah by no later than March 31.
